Space

Space is a silent, dark place,

cold and calm it truly is.

Planets, astronauts, rockets, galore-

it is not at all so sore.

Stars make it bright, with delight,

big rocks are magnetic, oh so energetic.

Planets make it cool, oh so nice,

astronauts always exploring

now you know, space is never boring.

Asteroids form into planets, which revolve around stars,

which end in explosions, and nebulas are born-

this is the life cycle of a star:

Nebula, Protostar, Giant, Supergiant, Explosion,

which can turn into a neutron star,

a black dwarf, a new nebula, or a black hole.

Space is still so young,

its story far from done.
